BAND TEES

We all have so many favourite bands and so do celebrities! I’ve found loads of pictures of them supporting their favourite bands with a seriously cool t-shirt. They’ve each got a different style to go with the tees. Ashley Greene kept her Low vs Diamond shirt casual with jeans and a pair of boots. Taylor Momsen puts a rock chick twist on her Iron Maiden shirt with the oversized checked shirt [which I love!] and big sunnies(her pic is on an earlier post!). Vanessa Hudgens has paired a Siouxsie and the Banshees shirt with long curly waves and a girly style. But alothough Megan Fox, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato have great t-shirts they have worn terrible trousers to go with them. Demi wore sweat pants which are OK but not exactly on trend with her ACDC shirt. Megan tried out velvet pants with a Megadeth shirt.. it didn’t work! And Miley, well .. I’m not sure what kind of pants she wore with her Jonas Brothers shirt but they look cow print to me!

DANII MINOGUE STARS IN M&S ADS

Danii Minogue starred in the M&S lingerie and womenswear ads along with Lisa Snowden and some other stars. The photoshoots use lots of bright colours. It includes florals and nautical style. The backgrounds change from being in a jungle, on a pier and beside the sea. Its fresh, clean and pretty.

Converse, Gladiator Sandals or Boots?

I just CANNOT choose! We have Converse which have that cute street chick look. They can be worn casually with an oversize tee or paired with a dress and tights for a Kristen Stewart look. Now, gladiator sandals are a item which came into style .. And never went out! They add elegance to a dress and a summer look if you wear them with your jeans. Boots, every girls winter essential! With so many different types, colours and styles they can be worn with everything. I just love them! So which would you pick?

I Heart Hats!

From sunhats to berets all year round! They add that final touch to all my outfits!...

I think sun hats are going to be really big this summer! :D

VERA WANG PRINCESS PERFUMES

I love the bottles of the perfume! They come in 3 ranges; ROCK princess, Princess, GLAM princess. The crown lids and heart shaped crystal bottles are so cute! Now about the actual scent . .Does anyone know what its like? 

I really love their magazine ads!

They're cute and quirky with the bubblegum, bright colours and ice cream. The outfits stand out against the white background and it really works :]

MADONNA & LOURDES; MATERIAL GIRLS

Madonna has paired up with her daughter Lourdes/Lola to create a new fashion line. She says her daughter has good taste in fashion and also that Lola has spent a lot of time with Madonna’s designer friends. Their new clothing line Material Girl is a juniors clothing line and according to Madonna will be affordable. It debuts in Macy’s this Autumn!

L’OREAL ADS

L’oreal have so much celebrities doing their ad’s! Cheryl Cole, Freida Pinto, Beyonce, Aishwarya Rai and more. They each look so beautiful and the make-up they use is so natural and glowing. The shoots show the models healthy and smiling, there’s no dark make-up, shadows or pouts. I love it!

MILK CAMPAIGNS

Celebrities are now modelling for milk! There has been lots of different ad’s about drinking milk with different celebs sporting a milk moustache!  In the UK it’s called “Make Mine Milk” and it’s going to be launched soon with ad’s by Pixie Lott and Gordon Ramsay. In USA it’s “Body by Milk” and they’ve already launched theirs. Celebrities include Miley Cyrus, Usher, Taylor Swift, Jordin Sparks and many more! Maybe a milk moustache is the new celeb must-have accessory!

UNICEF CELEBRITIES

I really like Rihanna’s new ad modelling for Gucci’s Tattoo Heart bag. 25% of the money will go to UNICEF charity. I love the bright white spotlight behind her which gives a sense of innocence to the shoot, perfect for a charity ad! Rihanna isn’t the only celebrity suporting UNICEF, they have lots of celebrity ambassadors which include Shakira, Ricky Martin, Manchester United, Selena Gomez who is the youngest ambassodor and more! I really admire all of them and some of the things they’ve done especially since the recent Haiti event is truly amazing!

I think military jackets are the craze at the moment and they look great with jeans, a plain top and sandals! Below is an example of how they can be worn!

TAYLOR MOMSEN CHANGE.

Taylor Momsen is all set to be the new face of New Look. She’s beautiful and has the rock chick look perfectly done from her smudged eyeliner to her leather jackets but have you ever thought about what she looked like before? She was such a cute kid! She looks so innocent and naive and its hard to believe it’s her! Below is Taylor as a child, then grown up, and then for New Look.

Elie Saab! :D - ELEGANCE!

Last week I got a text saying 'check out Elie Saab Couture 2010' from a friend of mine. A friend studying Law, so I assumed it definitely was something to see. On the high street Peach and Nude are definitely the 'IN' colours. Elie Saab has got me craving his gowns, and I actually aspire to own one. The gowns are wearable and look stunning, yet they are softly adorned with jewels, lace and beads. These are a few I particularly liked, although I don't think the picture does the gown any justice.

Emma Watson! - 'GREEN'

Emma Watson is actually everywhere, the face of Burberry (an apparent family shoot now), the Italian Chanel advertisements and now she is going 'Green'. To be fair when we think of helping the environment we think closer to recycling out household items and being kinder to animals. But Miss Watson has teamed up with People Tree. People Tree make all their clothes using environmentally friendly materials. Emma Watson has collaborated with them to make a collection for those under 25. I have been looking at different items that she created. It can be noted that her influence was very ‘english’.

Kids Fashion?!?!

Last week when I was carrying out research for one of my uni projects I found these pictures of an advertising campaign for All Saints... Is it just me, or do these kids look like miniature adults?

I have been watching America's Next Top Model again, I love the new idea of using small models... :D...

Selena Gomez is releasing her new clothing line Dream Out Loud on July 15th! Its cute and colourful with a strong use of pastels. I know my little sisters going to be obsessed!

LnA WHITE T-SHIRTS

LnA began in 2007 founded by Lauren Alexander and April Leight. They work on finding the perfect clothes and with a good fit, colour and material. It started off as men’s clothes but made for women. Their “Boyfriend Tee Collection” got amazing reviews, featured in magazines [including Vogue] and celebrity fans [including Nicole Richie and Mischa Barton] so they expanded. LOVE magazine

I always adored the work of Katie Grand, especially her Beth Ditto cover.

She never minds controversy or the feedback she will get. This year for Love Magazine she created eight covers, ALL NUDE!!! These two were my favourite because I love Naomi Campbell and Lara Stone.
